The Duchess of Clarence Territory
Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa had a second daughter, Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene Howard who was born on Samhain, The Pagan New Year which was on October 31.
Lady Samhain was born with a crock of dark brown hair, sparkling blue eyes, and fair skin and she was the best baby out of all Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa's five children.
Lord Andrew Charles knew that Lady Samhain was Lady Karissa's favorite child out of all of their five children and she kept her near to her.
Lady Samhain never gave her father or mother a moment of grief unlike their eldest daughter, Lady Elizabeth.
Lady Elizabeth only became more trouble when Lord Andrew Charles started to neglect her and she would look at her father and tell him "I am telling my grandfather what you are doing father."
"Tell him anything you please Lady Elizabeth." Lord Andrew Charles retorts.
"I am your heiress and nothing can replace me and you know that my grandfather won't let it happen." Lady Elizabeth told him.
"Good grief, Lady Elizabeth, no one is trying to replace you." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
Lady Elizabeth calls Barbara in and asks her to write a letter to her grandfather and Barbara does what Lady Elizabeth asks her to do and she has a courier deliver it to York Manor.
Lord Charles Andrew JR receives the letter from the courier and Lady Sarah, Lord Charles Andrew JR second wife and Duchess asks "What is wrong Lord Charles Andrew JR?"
"Lady Elizabeth is telling me that her father is neglecting her." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Sarah.
"What do you intend to do about it?"Lady Sarah asks.
"I intend to ride out to Beltane Manor and confront my damn son about his neglect towards my heiress. " Lord Charles Andrew JR states"What I would like to really do is place him on my lap and beat the living crap out of him."
"I am still his damn father and better mind me or my kinsmen will depose him from the Dukedom and they will try to replace him with Lady Elizabeth and her mother refuses to be her regnant." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"My kinsmen are ready to replace only after 16 months of being Duke of Norfolk Territory and they are thinking about replacing him temporarily with Lord Patrick William." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
Lord Charles Andrew JR gets dressed, and he kisses Lady Sarah and his newborn daughter, Lady Frederica Wilhelmina a kiss and he exits York Manor and climbs into his carriage and it heads down the driveway off the property and heads down the street towards Beltane Manor.
As the carriage passes by, the people line the streets of York to see their Duke and Lord Charles Andrew earned the name "Lord Charles Andrew, The Beloved Duke " from both the people of Norfolk and York Territories.
Whereas neither his father or son has earned any such titles from their people.
Lord Andrew Charles was growing up like his grandfather and not like the Great Uncle he was named for.
This upset Lord Thomas William Howard, Lord Andrew Charles Howard's great-grandson that his second cousin was tarnishing his great-grandfather's good name and his memory.
Lord Thomas William Howard was Duke of Northumberland Territory and he decided to ride out to Beltane Manor to tell Lord Andrew Charles to stop tarnishing his great-grandfather's good name and memory.
Lord Thomas William Howard gets on his horse and heads for Beltane Manor to confront Lord Andrew Charles and he is unaware that Lord Charles Andrew JR is on his way to Beltane Manor to talk to Lord Andrew about his neglect towards Lady Elizabeth.
Lady Elizabeth walks into the nursery and she sees Lady Elizabeth playing with the baby doll that she received while she was traveling to Pembroke and she asks "What did your name your baby Lady Bess?"
Lady Elizabeth looks up and she tells her mother "I named her Queen Charlotte." Lady Elizabeth tells her mother.
"A very fine name for such a beautiful baby-doll that was made with love and given to you when you were just a baby." Lady Karissa tells her.
"Barbara, how is Lady Samhain doing?" Lady Karissa asks.
"Lady Karissa. Lady Samhain is doing very well. She is such a good baby. Lady Elizabeth gave her one of her baby-dolls." Barbara tells her.
"Lady Bess has a tribe of baby-dolls that could govern Star Base 12 if they were given the chance. No doubt they could govern Norfolk better than Lord Andrew Charles." Lady Karissa says with a laugh.
"Ma'am. I meant to tell you that Lady Elizabeth had me write a letter to her grandfather. He came into the nursery and Lady Elizabeth and he had words." Barbara states.
"Good Gracious, Lord Charles Andrew wont' be happy when he receives the letter and he will be here when he reads it." Lady Karissa states.
"Lady Bess. What did you write to your grandfather about?" Lady Karissa asks Lady Elizabeth.
"I told my grandpa that my father was neglecting me, momma." Lady Bess tells her mother.
"I can't deny that Lady Bess. He is neglecting Lady Samhain, you, and me. " Lady Karissa states "Lord Charles Andrew JR won't be too happy."
"I am his heiress momma. '' Lady Elizabeth states."I am not going to debate it, Lady Elizabeth." Lady Karissa states.
"Why does he have to be my father, momma?" Lady Elizabeth asks " Why can't I have Lord Richard William Carey to be my father.?"
"Lady Elizabeth. I am sorry you feel that way about your father, however the fact remains he is and nothing can be done about. Even if he is alive or dead he will still be your father." Lady Karissa explains.
"Why can't I have a new father, momma." Lady Elizabeth asks.
"I wish I could give you a new model, Lady Elizabeth, but I can't." Lady Karissa tells her daughter.
"One day when you are older you will understand, Lady Elizabeth." Lady Karissa tells her eldest daughter.
Lord Charles Andrew JR arrives and the servant lets him and he walks in and he screams " Lord Andrew Charles get your damn rear end down here. It is your father?"
Lord Andrew Charles walks out of the drawing room and looks at his father " What is it dad?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"What is it my dear boy? I will tell you what it is." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him.
"Lady Elizabeth told me you are neglecting her." Lord Charles Andrew JR states "This totally unacceptable Lord Andrew Charles. She is my heiress."
"Dad. She is over-exaggerating as always." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
"I will ask Lady Karissa." Lord Charles Andrew JR states, "You make a terrible liar, Lord Andrew Charles."
"Lady Karissa. May I see you." Lord Charles Andrew JR calls out and Lady Karissa appears at the foot of the staircase and she calls out " Of course Lord Charles Andrew JR. I am up in the nursery."
Lord Charles Andrew JR walks up the stairs to the nursery and when he walks in Lady Elizabeth smiles and she runs to her grandfather " Grandpa, my father is neglecting me."
"This is true Lady Karissa." Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.
"I won't lie to you, Lord Charles Andrew JR. It is true, I am afraid to say." Lady Karissa tells him.
Lord Charles Andrew JR calls from the nursery "Lord Andrew Charles Howard get your damn rear end up stairs to the nursery."
Lord Andrew Charles walks up the stairs and into the nursery and Lord Charles Andrew JR looks at his youngest son and he tells him " Listen here my son. I brought you into the world and I can take you out."
"Wipe that smug look off your face, Lord Andrew Charles. I will take it off for you." Lord Charles Andrew JR orders him.
"You are not to neglect my heiress." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him and "furthermore, you are not to neglect Lady Samhain or Lady Karissa either." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.
"Do you think you are too old for me to put you across my lap and beat the unholy tar out of you." Lord Charles Andrew threatens him.
"You have been nothing but defiant and rebellious since you started to grow up and you still are, but it will stop." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him.
Lord Thomas William Howard walks into Beltane Manor, up the stairs and he confronts Lord Andrew Charles and he tells him "Listen here Lord Andrew Charles. Stop tarnishing my great-grandfather's good name because if you don't I can guarantee my cousin your father he will be minus a son."
"I will cut you into collopes and feed your stinking rotten body to the crows." Lord Thomas tells him.
"God forbid what my great-uncle was thinking. He was making out his Last Will and Testament before he died in 2250." Lord Thomas tells him.
"Lord Charles Andrew SR couldn't have been in his right mind when he wrote it." Lord Thomas declares.
Lady Karissa holding Lady Elizabeth just watches as Lord Charles Andrew JR and Lord Thomas William confront Lord Andrew Charles.
"Father. You left Norfolk in a royal mess." Lord Andrew Charles tells him.
"I don't know what you are complaining about, old man. I gave you two grandchildren." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
"You may think I am too old, Lord Andrew Charles but I can beat your whiny spoiled rear end at any time and I dare you to hit me because if you do it will be the last time you hit me because when I get up I will end your miserable life." Lord Charles Andrew JR warns his son.
"So I dare you to take your best shot." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son.
Lord Thomas William Howard looks at his second cousin and says "Go on try it Lord Andrew Charles and it will be two against one."
"If you hit my cousin. I will take you down and slice you into little pieces and feed your stinking corpse to the crows." Lord Thomas tells him.
Lord Frederick William Howard III walks in and says, " Oh fun time. I have always wanted to whip his whiny butt in."
Now it is three against one and Lord Andrew Charles knows he has been licked and he says, " I am not about to fight my father."
"You don't have to fight your father. You still have to contend with me, Lord Andrew Charles." Lord Thomas William states.
"Hey, I am some of the action." Lord Frederick William III tells Lord Thomas.
Lady Karissa carrying Lady Samhain and with Lady Elizabeth walk over to where Lord Charles Andrew JR is standing " Gentlemen. I think enough has been said." Lady Karissa tells them.
"Grandpa. I want a new father." Lady Elizabeth tells her grandfather.
"I am sorry my dearest Lady Bess. You only have one father as I have only one son, who is your father." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells her.
"Can't I have Lord Richard William Carey as a new father." Lady Bess asks.
"I am sure my cousin, Lord Richard William Carey, who is also your cousin would like that very much." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his granddaughter.
Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Elizabeth and he tells her " I love you Lady Elizabeth."
Lady Elizabeth looks at her father with glassy eyes and she tells him " I don't love you father, but I love my grandfather, mother, sister, and my cousins."
"Surely, you don't mean that Lady Elizabeth. You are just upset with me." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
Lady Elizabeth stomps her feet and tells him once again " I don't love you father. I love my grandfather, cousins, mother and sister."
"Lord Andrew Charles. You brought this on yourself when you started to neglect Lady Elizabeth." Lady Karissa tells him.
"You want a son, do you think having a son will change you?" Lady Karissa asks "If you are not here for our daughters. You won't be here for our son either."
"You need to rethink about us having five children now." Lady Karissa tells him "If you want more children get them off one of your women."
Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his son, " My kinsmen want to depose you as Duke of Norfolk Territory and replace you with Lord Patrick William Howard if he will accept it."
"He will govern until Lady Elizabeth comes to age and when she does she will become Duchess of Norfolk Territory in her own right." Lord Charles Andrew JR states, "They will overthrow you and force you to abdicate."
"You are undoing everything that my great-great-grandfather started back in 2160 and I can't let that happen and furthermore, you are tarnishing the Howard good name." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I love you, Lord Andrew Charles. You are my youngest son, but you're turning our family against you and they want to replace you." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him.
Lady Karissa looks at Lord Charles Andrew JR and she asks " If you would like to continue this conversation. Please take it to the drawing room and close the door. I need to calm Lady Bess down."
"I am sorry Lady Karissa. I don't mean to upset Lady Elizabeth. " Lord Charles Andrew JR tells her.
Lord Charles Andrew picks up Lady Elizabeth in one arm and Lady Samhain in his other arm and he holds them and he kisses them and says, "I love you Lady Bess and Lady Samhain. "
"I love you too grandpa." Lady Bess tells her grandfather and she kisses him.
"Be good for me." Lord Charles Andrew Jr asks Lady Bess.
"I will, grandpa." Lady Bess tells him.
With everything said, Lord Charles Andrew bows to Lady Karissa, Lord Thomas William and Lord Frederick William but he just gives Lord Andrew Charles a stare that could kill and he walks out of the nursery, down the stairs, out the front of the door and climbs back into his carriage and he heads back for York,
Lord Thomas tells Lord Andrew Charles " This far from over with you and me." and he bows to Lady Karissa and he kisses Lady Bess and Samhain and he walks out of the nursery, down the stairs and he exits Beltane Manor.
Lord Frederick William III follows Lord Thomas William and he gets back on his horse and they ride away.
