The Second Son Lord Albert Edward Howard, Duke of Kent Territory
Five year pass by and Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa are expecting their fourth child in March of 2285 shortly before Ostara (which March 21 in the Pagan Year.).
Lord Andrew Charles is hopeful that their fourth child is another son, but Lady Karissa doesn't care what the sex of the child is as she has three daughters and one son.
Lady Elizabeth is 9 years old, Lady Samhain is 8 year old, Lord Anthony is almost five years old and Lady Caroline Matilda is nearly three years old.
Lady Elizabeth is the head of the pack as the oldest child of Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa and she is a leader and she knows that she is destined to become the Duchess of Norfolk Territory.
When Lady Elizabeth finds out she is going to have a new sibling and she looks at her mother " I want a sister momma." Lady Elizabeth tells her.
"I am sorry it is not up to me to give you a sister, Go talk to your father." Lady Karissa tells him.
"I don't want to talk to my father. All he cares about is Lord Anthony." Lady Elizabeth tells her mother.
"Lady Elizabeth. You know that is not true." Lady Karissa states, " One day you will understand when you are older that all men want a son."
"I am the heiress to Norfolk and not Lord Anthony." Lady Elizabeth tells her mother.
"I know Lady Bess." Lady Karissa states, "and in time you will fulfill your destiny."
Lord Andrew Charles walks into the family room with Lord Anthony and Lady Elizabeth looks at her father and she tells him " I am the future Duchess of Norfolk and when I become it I am going to make sure no more boys can inherit the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory."
Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Elizabeth and he tells her " Lady Bess. You are my heiress but I am Duke of Norfolk Territory."
"You only care about Lord Anthony. You don't care about Lady Samhain, Lady Caroline Matilda or me." Lady Elizabeth tells him.
"It's not true Lady Bess. I care about all of my children including Lady Caroline." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"I am your firstborn child, father and nothing can take it away from me. I am telling my grandfather." Lady Bess tells her father.
Lady Karissa looks at Lord Andrew Charles " Andrew Charles. Do you really want your father involved in this again? You know that he dotes upon Lady Elizabeth." Lady Karissa asks.
"My father will become involved regardless. He loves Lady Elizabeth above all of his grandchildren." Lord Andrew Charles states "She is his Princess."
"She is my mother Princess too and she has given her the Stuart cornet to wear at her cotillion,'' Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"Father has a special cornet made for her when she becomes Duchess of Norfolk Territory." Lord Andrew Charles states.
"Lord Andrew Charles. We have governed Norfolk Territory for 10 year now." Lady Karissa states.
"Lord Andrew Charles. Lady Elizabeth won't be ready to govern until she is at least 24 year old and that is 2299." Lady Karissa states.
Now in between that time make sure you govern wisely and don't jeopardize it." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lady Elizabeth is too young to govern Norfolk and Lord Charles Andrew III will appoint your brother, Lord Patrick William as her regent since I won't be it. I have no desire to govern this damn territory." Lady Karissa tells him.
"It is nothing but a damn albatross around your neck, but you couldn't see it." Lady Karissa states.
"I don't want the albatross around my neck." Lady Karissa states.
"Don't usurp your power and become power hungry like Genghis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte, Adolph Hitler and Colonel Green." Lady Karissa stated, "Each went to their eternal damnation."
"Remember what happened to Colonel Green when Flint the Immortal dropped that Ebola Virus down on his camp and he was wiped out in a New York minute." Lady Karissa states.
You don't want to follow in his footsteps. Odin, God and Allah can bring down such men that usurp their power." Lady Karissa states.
"It is stated that Khan died from fall from his horse, Napoleon Bonaparte was poisoned and Hitler committed suicide like a coward." Lady Karissa states.
Lord Charles Andrew JR hears from Lady Elizabeth and Lady Sarah asks "What now Lord Charles Andrew JR?"
"It's my damn youngest son playing favoritism toward my grandson, Lord Anthony and Lady Elizabeth is upset by it." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Sarah.
"Time for me to head back to Beltane and this time I am going to put my damn foot up his rear-end. Lady Elizabeth is my heiress and she saved what my great-great-grandfather started." Lord Charles Andrew JR states " I am picking up Lord Patrick William and he will become regent for Lady Elizabeth until she is 18 years old." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his wife.
"I have summoned Lord Richard Edward Howard II, Lord Frederick William Howard III, Lord Richard William Carey and Lord Thomas William Howard and along with Lord Charles Andrew Howard III and we are headed over to Beltane Manor." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
Lord Charles Andrew JR kisses Lady Sarah and their daughter, Lady Frederica good-bye and he heads for his carriage and climbs in.
Lord Charles Andrew JR heads for Beltane Manor but before he does he goes by Norfolk Estate and he picks up Lord Charles Andrew III and Lord Patrick William and they climb into their father's carriage with him.
Lord Richard Edward Howard II, Lord Frederick William Howard III, Lord Thomas William Howard and Lord Richard William Carey all receive the message and they all head out towards Beltane Manor.
One by one they all reach Beltane Manor and they are led by Lord Charles Andrew JR and he knocks on the door and Lady Karissa answers it " I know Lady Elizabeth called you in once again.
"Where is my damn youngest son?" Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.
"He is in the living room with Lord Tony." Lady Karissa tells him.
Lord Charles Andrew JR with Lord Patrick William and Lord Charles Andrew III along with Lord Richard William Carey, Lord Frederick William Howard III, Lord Thomas William Howard, and Lord Richard Edward Howard II walk in the living room and Lord Andrew Charles looks up and see his father, brother's and numerous cousins and Lord Charles Andrew JR looks at his son, " Listen here Lord Andrew Charles. You may not show favoritism. Lady Elizabeth is our heiress. Don't make her upset." Lord Charles Andrew JR explains, "I understand that you love Lord Anthony and every man loves his son."
"Your blatant neglect towards Lady Elizabeth will be your downfall. "
"Lord Patrick William will be appointed Lady Elizabeth's regent until she is 18 years old." Lord Charles Andrew JR states, " Please Lady Karissa I am asking you to co-regent with Lord Patrick William."
Lady Karissa looks at Lord Charles Andrew JR " I will only agree if Lord Richard William Carey is also made a co-regent with Lord Patrick William." Lady Karissa states.
"All I know is that every parent has his/her favorite child and mine is Lady Samhain, but I love all my children." Lady Karissa tells him.
"Lady Elizabeth will always butt horns with her father, Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane because when he sees her he sees himself in her." Lady Karissa explains.
"They are carbon copies of each other." Lady Karissa tells Lord Charles Andrew JR.
"When Lord Andrew Charles sees Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane he sees a reflection of himself in female form. She is more vicious than her father." Lady Karissa states.
"I had my favorite in Lady Charlotte Augusta because I named her after the one woman I loved and was not permitted to marry." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Karissa.
"Lady Patricia favored Lord Patrick William." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Karissa.
Lady Elizabeth runs to her grandfather " Grandpa. My father doesn't love me like he loves my brother." Lady Elizabeth tells him.
"Lady Elizabeth. Your father loves you." Lord Charles Andrew JR states, " My son and you are just alike, but don't follow in his footsteps. "
"Lord Andrew Charles. This is your last chance to redeem yourself. The next time we will make you abdicate from The Dukedom of Norfolk Territory and Lord Patrick, Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Karissa will all co-regent together until Lady Elizabeth turns 18." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his youngest son.
"You have only been Duke for 10 years and you will have the shortest reign as a Duke of Norfolk Territory." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I am sure that Lord Patrick with Lord Richard William can appoint you the Duke of another territory." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his youngest son.
Lord Patrick William with Lord Richard William Carey look at Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Andrew Charles says "When has it been a crime to pay attention of your son, father"
"It's not a crime, Lord Andrew Charles, but it becomes a problem when you stop paying attention to my heiress." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"Lady Elizabeth has her mother, sisters, Lady Samhain and Lady Caroline, and my son only has me, father. " Lord Andrew Charles states.
"I will not neglect my son, Lord Anthony. He will be the one that carries on our surname through my grandfather, Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR, my grandfather, and my great-great-grandfather, Lord Frederick and my great-great-great-grandfather, Lord Patrick." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
"I love my daughters, father.." Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.
Lady Elizabeth looks at her father and she tells him, " I hope that your son dies and he may be my brother."
"You don't mean that Lady Elizabeth. What has your little brother ever done to you?" Lord Andrew Charles asks.
"Momma and you had him." Lady Elizabeth retorts.
"You loved him when he was first born nearly five years ago" Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
"Would you deprive Lady Caroline Matilda and Lady Samhain of their brother. Lord Anthony and Lady Caroline Matilda are very close and Lady Samhain adores him." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.
Lady Karissa walks over to Lady Elizabeth and she tells her. "Lady Bess. You know that you don' t mean that. Lord Anthony is my son and I don't want anything to happen to any of my children."
"Momma, I wanted a sister and you had Lord Anthony." Lady Elizabeth tells her.
"Lord Richard and I did give you a little sister, Lady Caroline Matilda. " Lady Karissa states, " Lord Anthony and Lady Caroline Matilda are very close."
"Do you want to hurt Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Caroline Matilda?" Lady Karissa asks Lady Elizabeth.
Lady Elizabeth looks at Lord Richard William Carey and she smiles at him " I would never hurt Lord Richard William and my little sister, Lady Caroline Matilda." Lady Elizabeth tells her mother.
"Something happened to Lord Anthony. You would be hurting Lady Caroline Matilda as Lord Anthony dotes on Lady Caroline Matilda." Lady Karissa explains.
Lady Elizabeth looks at Lord Richard William Carey holding Lady Caroline Matilda and she walks over to him and she takes her little sister in her arms and she kisses her and "Where did she get the doll?" Lady Elizabeth asks.
"Lord Anthony gave her the doll when she was first born and it is her favorite doll." Lady Karissa tells her.
"What is the name of your baby?" Lady Elizabeth asks her sister.
"I believe Lady Caroline Matilda named her baby Queen Charlotte." Lord Richard William tells Lady Elizabeth.
Lady Elizabeth looks at 4 year old brother, Lord Anthony playing with his toy soldiers and she goes and sits down by his side and Lord Anthony hands her a wooden figurine and he tells her " It is Queen Elizabeth Woodville, the Queen of King Edward IV and these are her children, Queen Elizabeth of York, Princess Ann who was married to our ancestors grandson, Princess Anne of York and this Princess Cecily, Princess Bridget, Princess Catherine along with King Edward V and his little brother, Prince Richard of York."
Lady Elizabeth looks at her brother and she takes him in her arms and she kisses him and says "I love you, Lord Anthony."
Lady Karissa smiles and so does Lord Richard William along with Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Charles Andrew JR.
Lord Charles Andrew JR reminds Lord Andrew Charles of his duty toward his heiress, Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane.
Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa wait for the birth of their fourth child and the names Lady Karissa has chosen are Lord Albert Edward or Lady Alberta Edwina Howard.
Lord Andrew Charles likes both names as he is getting tired of the same old recycled names.
Mabon comes and goes, as does Samhain, and Lady Samhain turns 9 years old, and Yuletide comes and goes as does Lord Andrew and Lady Karissa's ten year wedding anniversary on Imbolc and finally March arrives.
Lady Karissa enters into her final semester of pregnancy and Lord David William Beck, the only doctor that Lord Andrew Charles will trust is called out to Beltane Manor to see Lady Karissa.
Lord David William and Lady Katherine are expecting their second child in March as well.
Lord David William asks that Lady Katherine come with him and asks Lady Karissa "May Lady Katherine reside out at Beltane Manor."
Lady Karissa answers "By all means, bring Lady Katherine with you to Beltane. I will give you two a suite and bring Lord David William II with you as I am sure Lady Samhain will be delighted to see her second cousin once removed."
Lord David William Beck SR packs up his family for a temporary move to Beltane Manor.
"They travel west to Beltane Manor and when Lord David arrives with his family. It is Lady Samhain who is the happiest to see her second cousin, and her second cousin once removed and she smiles at them.
Lord Andrew Charles walks over to Lord David William and says, "We have suites ready for you."
Lady Samhain walks over to Lord David William II and they smile at each other. They are only one month apart in age.
Lord Charles Andrew JR looks at his great-nephew and he tells him " I believe it will be my granddaughter and my brother's great-grandson that bridges the gap between the Howard's and Beck's that should have never existed in the first place."
"How is your Aunt, Lady Charlotte Augusta Stafford?"Lord Charles Andrew JR asks.
"My Aunt is well with her husband and my first cousins, Lord Henry and Lady Henrietta." Lord David tells his grand-Uncle.
"Damn my father. He should have allowed me to marry your aunt away back when but oh no! She wasn't good enough." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells his grandnephew.
"Perhaps in time, I will get the best of your grandchildren, Uncle Lord Charles Andrew JR." Lord David tells him.
"All my grandchildren are special to me, but it is my youngest son that is giving me trouble." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
"I do believe that Lady Samhain is the best of all of Lady Karissa's and Lord Andrew Charles' children." Lord David William explains.
Lady Karissa breaks out laughing " I am glad you think that Lady Samhain is so special, but she knows how to use her claws and fangs as does Lady Elizabeth Victoria and her brother, Lord Tony and eventually Lady Caroline Matilda will learn how to use her too." Lady Karissa tells Lord David William Beck SR.
Lady Elizabeth takes Lady Samhain hand and they take Lord Anthony and Lady Elizabeth carries Lady Caroline Matilda in her arms and they start dancing around and Lady Elizabeth proclaims "See the future of Star Base 12."
Lord Charles Andrew JR smiles at the his grandchildren and he smiles and says, " Well, my grandfather was no fool when he married Lady Jeanette Virginia Beaufort but they did one mistake they gave birth to my father, Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR but he didn't make a mistake by marrying my mother, Lady Alexandra Elizabeth Churchill."
"My mother had me, my favorite brother, Lord Edward Richard, Lady Sophia Charlotte and Lord Edwin William and we did our job by giving him grandchildren." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.
Lady Karissa looks at Lord David and he has seen that look several times before and he says "Excuse me. I have to deliver another Howard baby." and with Lady Karissa and Lady Katherine. They exit the living room and they enter the birthing suite where Lady Elizabeth, Lady Samhain, Lord Anthony and Lady Caroline Matilda were born as well.
Finally at 4 PM at Beltane Manor on March 21, 2285, the cries of a newborn baby can be heard loud and clear and Lord David William calls out " By George. It's a boy, Lady Karissa."
"Go tell his father that he has a second son." Lady Karissa asks and with that Lord David William Beck walks into the outer suite and he tells Lord Andrew Charles with his brothers, father, and cousins, " Congratulations Lord Andrew Charles. You have a son."
Lord Andrew Charles is all smiles and he picks up his older son, and he carries him and Lord Andrew Charles with Lord Anthony go into where Lady Karissa is holding Lord Albert Edward Howard in her arms.
"I will create him Duke of Kent Territory." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.
Lady Elizabeth holding Lady Caroline Matilda and Lady Samhain walk in and Lady Elizabeth looks at her new brother, Lord Albert Edward and says " I will call him Bertie."
Lord Anthony places a wooden figurine next to his little brother, Lord Albert Edward and he says, "This is for you Eddie. It is Lord John Howard, our noble ancestor."
Lady Caroline Matilda gives him a baby doll name King William and although he is a boy, he loves the doll named King William.
Lady Elizabeth gives him a figurine of King Richard III, King Edward IV and Lord Richard, Duke of York along with Lady Samhain.
Lord Andrew Charles smiles at his family of three daughters and two sons and Lord Charles Andrew JR holds his second grandson, Lord Albert Edward in his arms and into the air he calls out " Look at this old man. I have two grandsons and with them what my great-great-grandfather started so long ago, but your hope lies within your great-granddaughter and great-grandson marrying each other."
Later on the same day, Lady Katherine Beck out at Beltane Manor gives birth to Lord David William Beck and her second child, a daughter, Lady Davina Wilhelmina Beck who is the great-great-granddaughter of Lord Charles Andrew Howard and great-granddaughter of Lord Edwin William Howard.
Lord Alberta Edward and Lady Davina Edwina Beck grow up together and they are third cousins
