Helllo Young Lovers

It was a beautiful starry evening over  Star Base 12 and Beltane Manor in  Norfolk Territory and Lady Karissa decided to walk outside over her terrace and she looks out into the  starry star and she thinks about Roy and her on a summer evening on Planet Earth.

It was about 10 years ago and he had been going on dead for 10 years but his memory remained with Lady Karissa although she was married to Lord Andrew Charles Howard, the Duke of Norfolk Territory. 

She had become the Duchess-Consort of Norfolk Territory only two other wives had become Duchesses Consort before her and the next woman become Duchess-Regnant of Norfolk Territory and that was her nine year old daughter, Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard.

Lady Elizabeth was so much like her father and she wouldn't let people forget that she would become the future Duchess.

Lady Karissa wasn't so concerned about Lady Elizabeth. She was proud, brave, and strong-willed and  somewhat selfish, whereas Lady Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene was gentle, quiet, humble and obedient.

Lord  Andrew  Charles Howard JR was only five years old and he was a quiet, introverted little boy the son that Lord Andrew Charles Howard wanted so bad, but he hadn't made much effort to visit his son in the nursery.  

Lady Karissa stands out on her terrace and she looks up into the evening sky and she starts to sing Hello Young Lovers, from Rodgers and Hammerstein II musical  The King and I. 

When I think of Roy

When the earth smelled of summer

And the soft mist of Virginia

Lord Andrew Charles stands outside of Lady Karissa's door of her suite, but he doesn't come in until she has stopped singing on her terrace and he stands outside of her terrace entrance and  listens  to her the haunting song, "Hello Young Lovers." 

"Roy are you there tonight?" Karissa calls out into the evening sky.

"It has been ten years now since you passed away of Prostate cancer and to follow you were my parents. They died the worse death that anyone can imagine. They died of radiation poisoning."  Karissa calls out to Roy.

"Oh Roy  my relatives abandon me too. They told me at the age of 15 years old that they didn't have enough money to feed their own children less alone me, and they ship me off to Star Base 12." Karissa calls out.

"The Earth we once knew is no more due to the hatred between people. " Karissa tells Roy.

"This is the fate of the human race that we live here in outer space." Karissa calls out.

"Odin must be very disappointed with all of us that follow him and we have dishonored him." Karissa tells Roy, "as for others that follow their own deity I can't speak of." 

"I have three children now Roy, two daughters and one son." Karissa tells Roy, "Do you remember that we planned to name our first daughter, Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane. I have a daughter with that very name and she is destined to become the first Duchess of Norfolk Territory and my second daughter is Duchess of Clarence Territory and my son is Duke of Lancaster Territory." 

"Elizabeth is very much like her father Roy. She struts around like a proud peacock reminding people that one day she will succeed her father as Duchess." Karissa tells Roy.

"Samhain Wilhelmina Charlene on the other hand is so gentle, peaceful, and kind." Karissa tells Roy.

"Lord Andrew Charles JR  is the son that Lord Andrew Charles had wanted but he hardly notices that our son is alive." Karissa tells Roy.

"Why have I gone through all this trouble to give him children, if he doesn't even notice of them.?" Karissa asks Roy.

Lord Andrew Charles listens to Lady Karissa talking to Roy on her terrace and he steps out onto the terrace and says, " I heard you talking to Roy Karissa."

"How long have you been standing there Lord Andrew Charles?" Lady Karissa asks.

"Not long Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"It isn't true that I don't know our children exist." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

"I know Lord Andrew Charles JR is here and I love him very much." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"I love Lady Elizabeth and I love Lady Samhain as well." Lord Andrew Charles, "They are expressions of our love and they were created out of love."

"The Song you were singing is hauntingly beautiful Lady Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"It comes from The Broadway Musical The King and I about Anna and The King of Siam back during Queen Victoria reign. " Lady Karissa explains.

"Anna was widow that was employed by the King of Siam to govern his many children, and teach them English among other subjects. She and her son left England to live under the roof of The King of Siam and she taught to dance and he loved to dance with her, but right before he died he proposed to her and I don't know if she accepted, it would be highly impossible as he was a Buddhist and she was a Christian from the Church of England." Lady Karissa explains.

"It is a wonderful musical based on her memoirs of her time at Siam." Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

"I know that Roy was your first love  Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"No he is my second love Lord Andrew Charles. I actually had a boyfriend in kindergarten name Ross Woodward but he left when I was in first grade and he returned from Germany when I was in 5th grade and he was in sixth grade." Karissa tells Lord Andrew.

"I moved to Brazil in 2267 and we kept in contact with each other through mail  but he moved to another city in Maryland before I moved to Brazil." Karissa explains.

"When my family and I returned back from Brazil we relocated to Virginia and I had a succession of other so call boyfriends, but Roy was the one I loved the most." Karissa tells him.

"We never fought, we never argued, and we were perfect together." Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles and "we were planning to marry but then he died of prostate cancer." 

"I was 15 years old and he was 17 years old." Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

"I laid him to rest before I boarded the U.S.S. Republic and started on my journey to Star Base 12." Lady Karissa tells him.

"I know you will never stop loving Roy Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"I only wish you could love me like you loved Roy. I have given you three children, and you are Duchess Consort of Norfolk Territory and you have a beautiful country manor in Beltane Manor."  Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"I do love you Andrew Charles, but think back I told you I didn't care for the aristocracy, I didn't care about your money, your title, or your Dukedom of Norfolk." Lady Karissa tells him.

"I just want to raise our children, and be happy." Lady Karissa explains.

"Do you see how Lady Elizabeth is turning out now. She parades up and down with her little aristocrat nose in the air reminding people that one day she will become Duchess of Norfolk Territory." Lady Karissa states.

"If she wasn't your heiress I would strangle her." Lady Karissa exclaims.

"Lady Samhain the daughter you can barely look at is growing up to be a beautiful, humble, little girl with a gentle spirit." Lady Karissa tells him.

"Our son the son you longed for rarely sees you." Lady Karissa exclaims.

"Someone one has to govern Norfolk Territory Karissa. Father left it in despair and I will have to summon all the other Dukes to a meet and see how we can come together." Lord Andrew Charles states.

"You have placed Norfolk Territory in front of your family Lord Andrew Charles." Lady Karissa tells him.

"We won't play second fiddle to Norfolk Territory I am sorry, we must come first." Lady Karissa explains.

"We have one more child  to go before our family is completed Lord Andrew Charles." Lady Karissa tells him. "Things must change." 

"Do you realize that none of your kinsmen like you and they seek to topple you and replace you with Lady Elizabeth if you aren't careful." Lady Karissa warns.

"Lady Elizabeth has set her sight on her second cousin, Lord Richard Edward Howard III." Lady Karissa explains.

"Lord Richard Edward III and Lady Elizabeth have become inseparable and he is the only person that keeps her intact and when she is with him she is at peace and one day through them the Howard's will continue." Lady Karissa explains.

"I can't see a better match for Lady Elizabeth than her second cousin, Lord Richard Edward III, they are both great-great-grandchildren of Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR." Lord Andrew Charles states. 

Lord Richard Edward III is the grandson of Lord Richard Edward Howard SR my father's second brother and Lady Elizabeth is our daughter and the granddaughter of Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and I am his youngest son." Lord Andrew Charles  tells Lady Karissa.

"Lady Samhain is drawn to Lord David William Beck JR and he is the  great-great-great-grandson of Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR through his youngest son, Lord Edwin William Howard."  Lady Karissa tells Lord  Andrew.

"One day we will be related  to the cousin that you don't really care for, but I want my children to marry for love." Lady Karissa  states.

"I promise to try harder Lady Karissa. I hate to see you so unhappy." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"I am happy Lord Andrew Charles, but  you must try to work on being a better father to our children before the fourth child is born.'" Lady Karissa tells him.

Lord Andrew Charles  takes Lady Karissa in his arms and says, "I am nothing without you in my life Karissa. It took me a long time  to find and you don't know how I had been searching."  

"You told me you had been searching since you were 18 and now you are 30 years old Lord Andrew Charles

"You told me you had been searching since you were 18 and now you are 30 years old Lord Andrew Charles." Lady Karissa  tells him, "Some people never find the one that they are searching for but I can tell you this  the lonely heart is a hunter and it keeps searching until it finds the one that it does love."

"I love you Lady Karissa and nothing will ever change that." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

"I love you too Andrew Charles Howard." Lady Karissa tells him. "Don't put us in second place." 

"I won't Karissa." Lord Andrew Charles tells her and they embrace under the moonlight that over looks Star Base 12 and Norfolk Territory.
