The First Grandchild and Great-Grandchild, Lady Karissa Ann Howard

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane and Lord Richard Edward Howard III were expecting their first child in April of 2295 and one month later Lady Karissa and Lord Andrew Charles would be expecting their fifth child in May of 2295.

When Lady Elizabeth found that she was expecting their first child in April of 2295, Lady Elizabeth rode to Beltane Manor and told her father and mother, " I am pregnant with Lord Richard Edward Howard III and my first child in April of 2295 and I have decided to name our child is a daughter Lady Karissa Ann and if it is a son we will name him Lord Richard Andrew Howard after both of our fathers." Lady Elizabeth tells her father and mother.

"I am touched that you will name your daughter after me." Lady Karissa tells her daughter.

"I am sure that Lord Richard and your father are deeply touched that you will name your child a son after both of them." Lady Karissa tells them.

"Your father and I are expecting our final child in May of 2295 and I have chosen the names of Lady Sophia  Dorothea and Lord Stephen Charles David Howard for a son." Lady Karissa tells Lady Elizabeth.

Lady Karissa looks at Lord Andrew Charles and he says, " I like the names of Stephen but isn't there another name with C we use and David is fine."

"How about Lord Stephan Christian David Howard.?"Lady Karissa asks.

"I like those names and it's different and refreshing." Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

Lady Elizabeth looks at her " I am naming our daughter after you mom. I want a part of you with me all the time." Lady Elizabeth tells her mom.

Lady Karissa smiles at her eldest daughter and tells her "Slow down after this child is born and give your body a break. You are young."

"We won't have another child until 2301 and a third child until 2306." Lady Elizabeth explains.

"We will name our second daughter after Lady Suzanne, Lord Richard Edward III's mother." Lady Elizabeth tells her.

"If we have a second son he will be named Lord Richard Edward Howard IV, after his father." Lady Elizabeth explains.

Lady Karissa tells Lady Elizabeth " I am sure that you will be happy when your first child is born and when you hold your child in your arms."

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR is 88 years old when he hears the news and he is overjoyed and Lady Elizabeth tells him the good news "Lord Richard Edward III and I are making you a great-grandfather."

Lord Charles Andrew JR is overjoyed with the news about the child and he smiles and tells Lady Elizabeth " I have held on to see my first great-grandchild that will succeed your father, and you in time."

Lady Elizabeth and Lord Richard Edward III and Lady Karissa and Lord Andrew Charles prepared to welcome a new child into their family.

Lord Charles Andrew JR orders the bells to ring out over Norfolk Territory announcing the impending birth to Lord Patrick William 's great-great-great-great-grandchild.

This child will come from both Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR 's two sons Lord Charles Andrew JR and Lord Richard Edward SR grandchildren and it will be Lord Charles Andrew SR first great-great-grandchild.

It is a happy time for both Lady Elizabeth and Lady Karissa as they expect their child in the Pagan Year of 2296, but the Georgian Year of 2295.

Mabon comes and goes, and with Samhain Lady Samhain turns 19 years old, and with Yuletide Lord Andrew Charles turns 44 years old.

The Georgian New Year is rung in over Star Base 12 with fireworks and celebrations of great joy and Imbolc arrives and Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa celebrate their 20th anniversary together.

Ostara comes and goes, shortly after March 21, 2295, Lady Elizabeth goes into labor and Lord Andrew Charles, Lady Karissa, Lord Richard Edward II, Lady Suzanne, Lord Richard Edward III, Lord Charles Andrew JR and Lord David William Beck SR arrive at Wessex Manor.

Lady Elizabeth labor is long and drawn out but she preserves and she stays busy where the labor doesn't distract her as much.

Lady Elizabeth looks at her mom " Did I give you a lot of trouble when I was being born?"

"Lady Elizabeth. You were our first child and all first time labor is long and drawn out." Lady Karissa tells her.

"It gets easier with every child you have." Lady Karissa tells her.

"I think Lord Benjamin Lawrence was my easiest." Lady Karissa admits.

"How is my brother mom?" Lady Elizabeth asks.

"Lord Benny is doing very well. Lord Anthony and Lord Albert dote on him. They play with him and read to him." Lady Karissa tells her.

"It's Lady Caroline Matilda who is suffering now as both of her sisters have married." Lady Karissa tells her "She has a good friend in Lady Richenda Edwina and Lady Davina Edwina." Lady Karissa tells her daughter.

"I am happy to hear it." Lady Elizabeth states.

Lady Elizabeth gives birth to a fine healthy baby girl and she tells Lord David Beck SR "Her name is Lady Karissa Ann Howard. I am naming her after my mother."

Lord David calls out to everyone " Lord Richard Edward III, Lady Elizabeth has given birth to a fine beautiful daughter, Lady Karissa Ann Howard."

Lord Richard Edward III with his father, mother, Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa walk in with Lord Charles Andrew JR and they see Lady Elizabeth holding Lord Richard Edward III and her newborn daughter in her arms and Lady Elizabeth tells everyone " Meet Lady Karissa Ann Howard."

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR walks over and Lady Elizabeth gives Lord Charles Andrew JR his great-grandfather and he holds his first great-grandchild in his arms.

"Lady Elizabeth and Lord Richard Edward III. You have made me a happy man. I can now go to my final rest. Odin has allowed me to live to see my first great-grandchild." Lord Charles Andrew JR tells them.

"I am 85 years old and I have lived to see all my grandchildren born and I have lived to see my first great-grandchild." Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

Lord Charles Andrew JR is alive to see his final grandchild born on May 1, 2295, on Lady Elizabeth's 20th birthday, Lady Karissa goes into labor and the labor and birth is easy and she gives birth on Beltane Day (The most significant of Pagan Sabbats) to Lord Andrew Charles and her final child and third daughter, Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea Howard, Duchess of Gloucester Territory.

Lady Elizabeth carrying 45 day old Lady Karissa walks into where her mother is laying holding her new sister that shares her birthday on Beltane Day.

Lady Elizabeth gives Lady Karissa to Lord Richard Edward III to hold and she looks at her new sister "I have a new sister. A new recruit."

Lady Elizabeth holds her new baby sister, Lady Sophia Charlotte Dorothea in her arms and tells her mother, "She is beautiful."

"You are partial, Lady Elizabeth." Lady Karissa tells her and she looks at her father " Don't you think she is beautiful, father?"

"Of course, Lady Bess. All your mother's and my children are handsome or beautiful and that goes for Lady Caroline Matilda and Lord Benny who are Lord Richard William children." Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

Lady Caroline Matilda walks in and she sees Lady Elizabeth holding their new baby sister in her arms and she smiles " Oh! Mama, she is beautiful, don't you think so father?" Lady Caroline Matilda asks her father.

"Lady Sophia Dorothea is very beautiful, Lady Caroline Matilda, but don't think any of your mother's children are ugly." Lord Richard William tells his daughter.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR finally passed away in September 2, 2295 at the age of 85 years old and he is laid to rest out in the Howard Mausoleum at Norfolk Estate next to his father, mother, two brothers and sister.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard takes it the hardest as she was his first grandchild and she gave him his first great-grandchild and Lord Andrew Charles had a special plaque placed on his tomb " HIS GRACE, LORD CHARLES ANDREW HOWARD JR, DUKE OF NORFOLK 2250-2275 and DUKE OF YORK 2275-2295. Born in 2210 and Died in 2295 and called home to Valhalla..
